tesla is now actually behind in the self driving car technology however its my personal opinion that they will get back to leading position very soon
the main difference between tesla and other self driving technologies is that tesla does not want to use "LiDar" technology which uses laser musk said this week that he might end up being a fool for not using this tech and its my opinion that he will not be a fool since his way will also work good however the fears he have over LiDar is likely not true and he will end up being halfway a looser about this
no tesla car is fuly self driving like Gm and google cars are currently

solar city is no more a company it self, it was bought out by tesla-
the battery in Australia is not powered by solar its powered by wind turbines built by a different company not tesla
they had issues with wind since wind which is not blowing every second as a result they lost electricity wherever the wind was slwo

hyperloop is a concept that musk developed and he published that concept for free there are several companies working on developing hyperloops -according musk theory it does not belong to anyone

he was co-founder of paypal, paypal was later bought by ebay and he left paypal than and he used his money from that sale to build tesla and spacex-

musk is co founder of OpenAI its a company working on developing AI software and give it away for free

musk is the founder and CEO of Neuralink which aims to build software and computer chips to connect our brains to to computers they will frst use it for people with brain damage or similar issues but eventualy tehy want to use it for everybody

open AI as it name says "OPEN AI" is about open source AI for everyone for free however musk obsession with AI is partially because of safety

however musk is considered by most people in the field of AI as over stating the so called risk of AI, although a broad range of experts agree on regulating AI which is just common since we regulate internet and computers etc, and AI is no exception

i think musk himself has stepped back somewhat from his overblown fears about AI

Elon Musk has removed Tesla and SpaceX’s Facebook pages after Twitter challenge

During a tweetstorm, Elon Musk has removed both of his companies’ Facebook pages after being challenged to do so by a few of his followers. The pages of both SpaceX and Tesla are now inactive. Each had around 2.6 million followers.

Musk was answering a flurry of tweets this morning when he responded to one from Signal’s Brian Acton, co-founder of the Facebook-owned WhatsApp, that contained the hashtag #deletefacebook. “What’s Facebook?” Musk queried. Afterward, a follower told Musk he should delete SpaceX’s Facebook page if Musk was “the man.” Musk claimed he didn’t even know it existed and then said he would, probably in an attempt to preserve his “the man” status.



Things ballooned from there. After someone showed Musk a screengrab of the SpaceX Facebook page, he noted it was the first time he had seen it and that it would “be gone soon.” Then someone prompted him to delete Tesla’s Facebook page, with Musk responding that it “looks lame anyway.” And just for good measure, it seems that the Facebook page for Tesla-owned Solar City has disappeared as well.

Musk’s massive Facebook troll comes on the heels of a particularly bad week for the social media company. Over the weekend, it was revealed that Cambridge Analytica, a consulting firm that worked on President Trump’s election campaign, had improperly acquired data from 50 million Facebook users. The backlash has continued since then, with Facebook users showing concern over the disregard for their privacy and government officials demanding answers.

Despite the anti-Facebook stance Musk is taking, SpaceX and Tesla are still alive on Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. Perhaps Musk will shun that platform, too — if he is the man.
