Hi Everyone

I am about to make my own private label product, so here is some questions need to be answered urgent

1)I wanna put a warranty on my product but have no clue where and how to do it, does anyone know form a good site or person that creates warranty's ?

2) What about insurance, do i need to have product liability insurance? or just a warning on the package on how to use the product the right way will protect me from being sued ?

3) What information do i need to put on the package, for example is it required by law to say on the product where it is made from? (as we always see made in china), in other words how do i know which information needs to be put on the package and that i do it the right way ?

I apologize for those struggling in reading English, i am better in yiddish as well i just don't have a yiddish keyboard

i don't have experience but I think you could basically do it by yourself

1. take a look on similar items and copy their warranty change around words and sentences becouse of copywrite laws

2. if your item have a potential to harm you should inquire in such insurance ask a insurance agency
I think it could cost a lot so till your business doesent make real money they will not have what to sue ...
and take in mind "noting" can protect you from being sued but at least you will have better stand in court it should not happen put all warnings of similar items on yours

3. put where its made like all other brands are doing. simply copy

4. make your business activity on a corporation so you will not be personal liable how long you are not doing intentionally illegal

I dont know - but you could try to contact any hiemishe manufacturer who is producing product and they would be able to help you
