בן אחר בן האט געשריבן:Can i use the word 'Preposterous' as anohter word for Chutzpa

Why bother? Whatever word you will use just will not give the same message
I don't know about the UK but here in the USA it is perfectly good English
so ruled a federal Judge

Last term something novel occurred at the nation's highest court. A decision of the U.S. Supreme Court used the word "chutzpah" for the first time. The decision was written by Justice Antonin Scalia in National Endowment for the Arts v. Finley, and addressed the interaction between government funding and free speech. Chutzpah is a Yiddish word connoting brazenness. A federal court in the Northern District of Illinois noted in a decision a couple of years ago that chutzpah means shameless audacity; impudence; brass. Leo Rosten's The Joys of Yiddish defines chutzpah as a Yiddish idiom meaning "gall, brazen nerve, effrontery." But neither English translation can do the word justice; neither definition can fully capture the audacity simultaneously bordering on insult and humor which the word chutzpah connotes. As a federal district court in the District of D.C. noted in 1992 that chutzpah is "presumption-plus-arrogance such as no other word, and no other language can do justice to.''

I checked the concordance and could not find the word
חוצפה
in Tnach
is חוצפה
derived from an Aramaic root that is used in chazal.
so when we write Yiddish or Lushoin Hakoidesh we should spell
חוצפא מיט אן א נישט חוצפה

I saw an infomercial where a shop-owner was bragging about his 'fast and sufficient service'.

In other news, today a boy in my class wrote 'chred' instead of 'treat' - obviously being used to pronouncing the 't' from treat like the 'ch' in chess.

A Jew from Tel Aviv had a situation that required a special meeting with a prominent Rav
The meeting was set for 4:00 pm in Yerushalaim. The Rav but the Jew in question was late. The Rav therefore got up and left. At 4:15 pm. the Jew from Tel Aviv arrived and waited for a long time, until he finally returned home.
A fèw hours later, he telephoned The Rav and asked why he had not waited for him. “We agreed to meet at 4:00 pm. but you weren’t there,” replied the Gaon. The man apologized aying that it was difficult to arrive at the exact time when traveling from Tel Aviv to Yerushalaim, as the buses don’t always keep to the thir fixed schedule.
The Rav’s reply was simple and yet so pointedly true: “My friend. if you had left a half-hour earlier from Tel Aviv, you would have arrived in Yerushalaim at 3:45 pm, and you might have waited for 15 minutes. But that’s not what you did. You left later and thus arrived late, because you didn’t want to waste your time. Yet, why did you think that you could waste my time?”

The Dubner Maggid as a young man was a frequent guest of the Vilna Gaon. On each visit, he would entertain the Gaon with a parable or insight on a variety of subjects. The Gaon once asked him why he didn’t collect and arrange his comments according to the Parshios of the Torah and publish them. The Maggid, as expected, replied with a parable. A wealthy man invited all the townspeople, including the poor people to his son’s wedding . Those who were well-to-do sat down and patiently waited for each course to be served. The poor, who did not know what to expect, grabbed whatever they could and ate quickly, while it was available. A Talmid Chochom, with his vast understanding of the Torah, can interpret the Torah in sequence. I a poor person, grab whatever I can, without order, and blurt it out
